Fruitful Welfare Association (FWA) was founded to address the social and economic pressures facing young people, women and vulnerable members of society — through structured, sustainable programs.
FWA is a registered association established by a group of committed leaders who recognised the need for a structured organisation empowering communities through sport, education, entrepreneurship, leadership, peacebuilding and social welfare.
Since registration, the Association has focused on sustainable programs promoting youth empowerment, talent development, economic inclusion, community health, environmental conservation and peaceful coexistence — because investing in people builds stronger families and more prosperous communities.
Kenya continues to face significant challenges — youth unemployment, drug and substance abuse, poverty, crime, gender inequality and limited opportunity for talent development. Rural communities are disproportionately affected.
FWA was established to provide practical, community-driven solutions that equip individuals with knowledge, skills, mentorship and opportunity — using sport, entrepreneurship, leadership training, education and community engagement as tools for sustainable development.

From sports tournaments to environmental clean-ups, each project is designed to address real needs and create lasting impact.
Annual tournaments and training camps that identify and nurture young athletes and creative talents across the country.
Our sports program runs year‑round, partnering with local clubs and schools to provide coaching, equipment, and competition platforms. We have hosted over 10 regional tournaments, reaching more than 500 young participants. The program also offers mentorship in discipline, teamwork, and healthy living.
We believe that talent, when nurtured, becomes a pathway to education and employment. Many of our alumni have gone on to represent their counties and even join professional teams.
Workshops on financial literacy, business planning, and digital marketing to empower youth and women to start and grow their own businesses.
This initiative provides practical skills in business management, access to micro‑finance, and ongoing mentorship. In the last year, we trained 200 entrepreneurs, 60% of whom have launched or expanded their ventures.
Our curriculum covers market research, customer service, branding, and e‑commerce, ensuring participants are ready for today's dynamic economy.
Tree‑planting drives, waste clean‑up campaigns, and climate awareness programs that foster environmental stewardship.
We have planted over 10,000 trees in partnership with local schools and community groups. Our clean‑up campaigns have removed tonnes of plastic waste from rivers and public spaces.
We also run climate education sessions, teaching communities about sustainable farming, water conservation, and renewable energy.
Mentorship circles, skills training, and financial inclusion programs that help women become leaders in their communities.
Our women's circles meet weekly, covering topics such as public speaking, financial independence, and legal rights. We have facilitated over 50 women to access small loans and start income‑generating activities.
We also engage men and boys in dialogue to foster a supportive environment for gender equality.
Dialogue forums and mediation training that promote social cohesion and reduce community tensions.
We have facilitated peace dialogues in 12 communities, bringing together elders, youth, and local leaders to resolve land and resource disputes. Our trained mediators have helped reduce inter‑community violence by over 30% in targeted areas.
We also run peace clubs in schools, teaching children the value of tolerance and non‑violent communication.
Comprehensive mentorship, life skills training, and leadership camps that prepare young people for a productive future.
Our flagship program reaches 300 young people annually, offering workshops on career guidance, mental health, digital literacy, and civic engagement. We also organise leadership retreats where participants design and implement their own community projects.
Many of our alumni now hold leadership positions in their schools, communities, and workplaces.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Community Development from Chuka University and has gained practical experience in community engagement, teamwork, communication, administration, and coordination.
He previously served as the Organizing Secretary of KYF Isiolo Chapter, where he was involved in mobilizing members, coordinating activities, and supporting organizational initiatives. Through his leadership experience, Deavon has developed strong skills in organization, teamwork, accountability, communication, and event coordination.
As National Chairperson of the Election Board, he is committed to promoting a transparent, fair, inclusive, and well-organized electoral process that upholds integrity, equal participation, and confidence among members.
